Key achievements
I have been the design team leader for major international and Australian tunnels including Westgate Tunnel Project (Melbourne), WestConnex 2 and Western Harbour Tunnel (Sydney). I was the ATS Tutor for the successful ATS Tunnel Design Guide 1st and 2nd Editions and I was the ATS Short Course Chair for two of these conferences (2015, 2024). In 2018 I was awarded QLD Engineer of the Year and the Technical Excellence Award from Roads Australia. I have been appointed Adjunct Professor at University of Queensland 2020-current.
